Discovering “truths” that are hidden from us in plain sight often “twists” one’s sense of normalcy…for example;
We all know and accept as truth that certain characteristics such as, physical, emotional, even spirtual traits can be “passed down” from generation to generation. For example, you can have your grandmother’s eyes, your father’s height, and your uncle Joe’s devilish temper.
OK, fairly obvious, right? Now, let’s light the fire!
What about thoughts? Can thoughts be “passed down” intact through generations? Can it be possible that some of the “thoughts” you have did not originate in your own mind!
Think very carefully, are these just 3 simple questions?
Or, are the hidden implications here truly staggering and something that science perhaps should take note of?
Let’s consider this example; you’re at a party where you’ve had a little too much to drink. You’re approached by this gorgeous woman and you immediately and quite spontaneously begin to imagine how wonderful it would be to make wild and passionate love to her. Not a bad thought, except that you’re a woman also and have never before thought anything even remotely close to that! Whoa! Where did that come from, you ask yourself! After a few such instances, you begin to question your own sexual orientation which you never doubted before.
What has happened here?
The explanation has eluded social scientists forever but the truth is hidden in plain sight.
The simple explanation is; Those thoughts did not originate in your mind!
They were “passed down” to you, perhaps from a womanizing male ancestor. When you found yourself in circumstances very similar to one he had been in, his thoughts in the form of “passed down” memories inappropriately activated in you. In such circumstances original thoughts and “passed down” memories would be indistinguishable.
The social implications of this are as staggering as the insight it offers into age-old questions!
1. Can a man really be “trapped“ inside a woman‘s body? (asked another way; can people really be gay?)
Or, are they simply and unknowingly responding in concert with the inappropriately activated memories of opposite sex ancestors?
2. Is reincarnation real?
Or, is the irrefutable, detailed proof of a past life simply a “passed down” memory of someone who actually lived that life?
As always, the simpler explanations are usually the correct ones.
These are just 2 examples of possible “truths” that are hidden from us in plain sight. I will be discussing more in the coming days. Some of which have the potential to change the very fabric of society.
Can you think of any?
